7th and 8th day

Today is Wednesday and yesterday was Tuesday. Tuesday we all took the test and another girl and I managed to fail it by one question. Technically we got an 84% but we need 85% in order to pass. So we both studied hard and re-took it. We both missed one question on the re-take. YAY!! The test that we took today I passed! I missed two. YAY again!! Whoot whoot! I am soo happy. Her and I went into the bathroom and we both prayed together. We both feel like GOD is in control and that He has a plan for us. We both passed! :D We are taking this serious and it means a lot to us. Thank you so much for praying. I know I am being watched over and I am being me and everyone knows that I don't do certain things and why. They all know that I am a Christian and that I am trying my best to do what is right by GOD. I am not perfect but I have a lot of tools that I have been using and that I can use to touch their lives. This is what I hope and pray that I will be and continue on doing so. Two that I know of are Christians. I love how the LORD works. Always amazes me.

6th day of training

Today in training was good. Just more information. Nothing really new. We have a big test tomorrow. Study study study. It won't be that bad. Because its what we have learned these days few days. Other than that nothing else to report or say. Hehe. I hope everyone is doing great. Thanks for reading my blog. There is more to come.

Weekend

My weekend was great! It was nice to be able to relax and enjoy some time off of the long hours that we all had this past week of studying and a whole lot of learning.
Friday I stayed in my room and danced. Ha no surprise there. I watched a bit of TV. Saturday I didn't feel so good. But I took a nap and Joan was sweet enough to make sure that I took care of myself. It was nice. Jillian and Amanda made very good chicken pasta. I don't know what it was exactly but it was very good. :)
Sunday Joan and I went to First Baptist Church. We both liked it. Joan really liked it and she was like we are going there next week. We then went to Wendy's and she bought me lunch. So sweet. So my weekend went great. I hope that everyone else weekend was great as well. I know GOD is watching over me. Thank you for your prayers.

5th day

Today was casual day Friday and we once again passed all our tests. :) YAY!! It was a very great day. I got 100% on my test! Awesome! :D
I do have another prayer request. I know you are probably thinking..geeze this chick is very needy. Hehe. ;) Those of you that know me very well know that I am a klutz. I banged my hand/wrist the other day and I have been ignoring the pain (Like always) I got a little tiny bruise and still ignored it. Then I banged it again. Grrr. So all day today in class my hand was trobbing. I was in a lot of pain and it started to swell. It didn't help that I was taking notes the whole day and lifting a heavy bag where I carry all my binders and books. I took some medicine and I have some more. Hopefully it will heal fast. I have the whole weekend to rest so I know I will be fine come Monday. Thank you and I appreicate it. :)
We have the whole entire weekend off. What am I to do for the rest of the night and the next two days? I suppose I will work out or/and go swimming. Do something productive. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Take care and GOD Bless!!

3rd and 4th day

The 3rd and 4th day went very well. The whole class passed the tests. Its been going great these past couple of days. I am enjoying every moment and I just absolutely happy that I am here. I cannot wait until the next day. Everyday is hard and long but I know in the end the reward is great. I have a such a great support system and I am so thankful that I have people encouraging me, who are there for me, who support, and who are praying for me. You know who you are and thank you. :D You're the best! Thanks again for your prayers. I will try my best to keep you posted as much as I can.

2nd day of training

Today was the 2nd day of training and it was great!! Loved it! We first started off the day by taking our test and we all passed! Yay! :D We got fitted for our uniforms which was fun and annoying. It was annoying because no matter what size I tried on it seemed as though nothing would fit! It was too short, too small, too long, too wide, etc. Me and my weird shaped body. Ahahaha. Which is the truth. But eventually I found the right sizes which the help of a nice older woman who got added to our class today. She was a big help and she helped me with the right shape and size and made sure it looked right. I am rather excited because my uniforms will be delivered to my house and by the time that I get back home they will be there. We also got our Flight Attendant Manual! We were told to treat it like the Bible. Uhh no. The Bible is the Bible. So at first I took offense to it. It's probably normal. But what they meant was to keep it with you always like you would your Bible. Hhmm. Interesting. :)Though our instructor didn't say those exact words but he meant for us to keep it always with us.
So all in all it was a very great day. I feel refreshed and feel wonderful! Thank you all for your prayers! May GOD Bless you! Take care.

Arrived/1st day of class

So I arrived in CLT yesterday like around 3:30. I didn't get out of the airport until like 4. I didn't know that there are two Quality Inn Hotels in CLT. So the first hotel that I went to was the wrong one. The other girls in the class arrived there too.
So all of us arrived at the wrong hotel at the same exact time. That was funny.
One of the girls had a friend that lives here and that drove us to the right hotel and helped us study in the lobby later in the evening. Then we all went to bed.

Today was the first day of training. It was a long day. A whole lot of paperwork. Tomorrow we have our first test. I am exhausted. Please pray that I will be able to get some rest and to be able to relax a bit. I feel somewhat sad...not depressed. I thought it was because I didn't get New Bern, NC. Instead I got Charlottesville, VA. I guess GOD has a different plan and I am some what disappointed. But its not that...I just feel sad. Not homesick...just sad. Not depressed. Please pray that I will find my happy place and get back to myself soon. Thank you.

Two more days to go...

I cannot believe that I have two more days until I am off to Charlotte for training. I am getting excited, nervous, anxious, and I have butterflies in my stomach. Goodness I just cannot believe its almost here. YAY!! Whoot whoot!! Ahaha. Please keep in your prayers. I will let you know when I arrive at the Hotel. :)

Leaving this Sunday

I am leaving this Sunday to go to Training! I am so excited!! I have waited such a long time for this and for it to be actually happening is absolutely amazing!
My flight will be out of RDU (Raleigh/Durham, NC) at 2:30 PM and I will arrive at CLT (Charlotte, NC) at 3:22PM. I will be staying at the Quality Inn while I am there. I will have a roommate and I have no idea who it is...well there is only five of us now. It seems as though a few have dropped out or changed their minds. So I think one of us won't be having a roommate. I would actually love to have the room to myself. Shocking as it may seem...but I sure do love me some quiet time and my own space. But whatever happens its alright with me.
I still don't know where I will be stationed. I am hoping and praying that it will be in New Bern, NC. If not then the LORD has something else planned. I will find out after or during the first week of training. So I will let you all know as soon as I find out.
Please continue on praying for me. Pray that I will not lose focus on what GOD has planned for me, that I will study and try and do my best, and that I will continue on being strong. For I know Satan will try anything and everything to get me down and I am prepared. I have my armor on but I still do need prayer. Thank you all so very much. May the LORD GOD Bless you! Take care!

Flight Attendant

First off I now live in Apex North Carolina. I have been living here with my family for almost six months now. The LORD has once again provided for us and guided us here.
Its been a long time since I last blogged and I have been working at IHOP here in Apex waiting for Piedmont to get a hold of me. I have been waiting for a year now. The other Airlines that I applied to never called or emailed me (other than Delta).
I felt very strongly that I would hear from Piedmont before my 21st birthday. GOD gave me a peace about it and patience like I have never had before. (Those of you who know me, know that I have a lot of patience but can only have so much for such an amount of time like any other person.) I felt like my birthday was the deadline so to speak. Then behold five days before my birthday I got some wonderful news...

Yay! I am going to be trained as a Flight Attendant June 13. The training will take three weeks to complete and hopefully I will pass with flying colors. Hehe. I am going to try to do a daily blog of me going through training and when I am flying on my own. The life of a Flight Attendant. Hehe. I will try to keep everyone up to date and post some pictures and such when I can. This is just to inform you and I will later post more information with more detail soon. :)
